Norman J. Wagner’s research focuses on the rheology and microstructure of complex fluids, combining rheology with advanced scattering techniques to uncover structure - property relationships in colloidal suspensions and soft materials. He is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, recipient of the 2014 Bingham Medal of the Society of Rheology, and former President of the Society of Rheology, among other honours. He is currently the Robert L. Pigford Chair and Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware.
